It will take you on a journey through Saint Nicholas Parish Church Carrickfergus. As you explore the site and read the text you will realise that we have been here for a very long time. Historians suggest that it was in the 1180s that Saint Nicholas' was built.
We hope you enjoy your visit to the site which attempts to capture and portray some of the beauty and history which is part of our church.
We are more than a stone building. We are also what the Christian bible calls a spiritual building, made up of those who are God's own people. In that sense we have been here much longer than the 12th Century.
